Grand Cayman: Escape to an Island Paradise

Cayman Islands is a British Overseas Territory located in the western Caribbean Sea. The territory comprises the islands of Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac, and Little Cayman, located south of Cuba and northwest of Jamaica.

Well, were in Grand Cayman!

Our late vacation that started last May 10 was really a tough one..because of the ashfall that happened in Iceland all flights to London was cancelled or i might say almost all flights near Iceland. It was like are we going or not? But then, we still took the chance since we've waited long enough for the British visa's approval.

Yippeee! We're going to Cayman!

Its my first time to travel this far so im really kinda bit excited..but then a bit teared up with sadness because my lola passed away last May 1 and it was really sad.. Actually we packed our luggage on the same day of may 10 since our flight was in the afternoon..

We traveled more than 30 hours before we reached our destination and yeAh, who couldnt be tired but seeing my sister again and knowing that Cedie can be with them is such a great joy.

Cayman is a place blessed with beautiful beaches that just looking at it gives you that feeling of relaxation.. The natives are welcoming and food are really nice and bigger than usual hahaha!

Staying at Cayman is just like spoiling yourself with the wonderful sceneries, delicious food and not to mention the expensive cost of everything..OH! I ALWAYS CONVERT IT TO PESO and say, ANG MAHAL!hahaha but i think when you get to live there youll get used to it..

We enjoyed our stay mostly because we are all together even when sadness really follows.. I do think of my late uncle and lola..and i do hope she understands why we cant all be there to see her for the last time..

So there, i enjoyed snorkeling looking at the fishes underwater, i starve when i see a big ones, i would say thats nice to eat.. I also enjoyed seeing the turtles and the stingrays..but i do get scared of their tails. I love the parrots and some exotic birds..and iguanas? awww theres lots of it in Cayman.

Cayman Islands is really a place worth seeing for and if i had the chance i would love to go back here. Theres a lot of beautiful places that would make you say wow. The cost of living may be high but it's all worth it.

We had long stop overs in London back and forth. And an hour in Hongkong.

If there's an island i'd like to be stranded, thats definitely Cayman Islands.
