Quick & Easy Cheesy Carbonara

It's not the first time i cooked Carbonara but this is the first time i cooked it with less ingredients like i used whatever is available. Well here's what i found. This is an easy version of Carbonara.

Here's how:

For the PASTA:
  1. Let water boil in a casserole.
  2. Add salt and drops of cooking oil.
  3. Add the pasta and stir gradually.
  4. Most pastas cook in 8-12 minutes. Check the package directions.
  5. Drain the pasta in a colander and shake off  excess water.

For the CARBONARA SAUCE:
  1. Prepare all the ingredients.
  2. Sauté the garlic and onions in butter.
  3. Add the ham and the cheese. You can also add Pepperoni and Bacon, if desired.
  4. Pour the cream and evaporated milk.
  5. Simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  6. Slice onion leaves for topping.
TIP: You can add Knorr cream of Mushroom soup mix to the sauce to make it more tastier.
