Liver Spread Spaghetti

Have you heard about that spaghetti with liver spread? At first, it sounds really weird for me like i was imagining how would it taste. Well, so i should try it myself. Having all the ingredients gathered, doing the same way of how to cook spaghetti, the difference is just that putting liver spread in the spaghetti sauce. Oh well, i was kinda lazy to type the procedures haha. (Well maybe I'd update this some other time)
Tadaaa!
So what do you think huh? It may look like an ordinary spag but the taste is really different from the ordinary, more like an italian pasta savor and i really love the sweet and spicy combination of the sauce - not to mention the cheese overload.. ohhh sooo yummy!

August Madness

Updating and filling out the missing post of this blog. Especially this monthly blog i always had of course every month.. If i am not mistaken I've been doing this monthly thingys since 2010. It wasn't really hard but sometimes i don't have much enough time update and quite pressured for whatever i should be writing. It won't always be too personal. That would be boring..haha!

Anyway, as always this month wasn't as good as the past months, it wasn't that bad though. I guess just like less ordinary that passes by so quite slow that gives both happiness and painful moments. Hooked up with e-books which i download and save in the ipad. I can't even hand it down even when it's already almost morning. I guess that was addiction for i become really bored with nothing to do. Err like doing something i want to but can't and doing something i should but i don't. Confusing isn't it? I was always the confused one mehehe.

I was thinking of changing my blog's skin since i had been using it for almost 4 years. Yet every time i attempt to do so, laziness come out looking in the parts i will need to edit, looks really complicated so I'd rather keep it that way..I changed header only twice and tweaked some of the links in it. But this time, i wanted to change it really bad so if there's anyone who can recommend me some helpful sites for blogger how to's codes, i would really appreciate it. I already came out with a colour scheme i want and a design as well. It will be out in this week so please do bear with me for the inconvenience. (I want a domain site too!) someday, maybe.

Till next!

Yema Candy

Bitter days needs a dose of sweetness, so this yema is the quickest remedy i can get. It wasn't hard to make, would only take you a couple of minutes to get done. Now let's start, i'll make it quick too.

Here's how:
  1. Put condensed milk in a casserole.
  2. Add lemon flavor and vanilla extract.
  3. Put casserole in low fire.
  4. Mix continuously until mixture is thick.
  5. Remove from fire and let it cool.
  6. Wrap it up.
*Other version of Yema has egg and butter.

Since there's no cellophane available, i used clear plastics.  TAADAAA!

Heartfelt letter to God

 Dear God,

All my plans for the future were gone, all my hopes and dreams were over, but somehow, through all the darkness, I knew You were still with me. I had to trust in You no matter how bad things were.  I had to hold onto that last little bit of faith with all my strength because it's the only thing left to hold on to.

...Your Will be done.

Love,
Me

Leche Flan: Cooking using egg yolks

I had been into cooking sweets lately to fight the bitterness of the world. Muhaha. I had posted Cooking leche flan using whole eggs last year, this time it's about cooking using egg yolks. So let's start!
Here's how:

Steam for about 30 minutes. You'll know it's cooked when you put a fork in it and comes out clean.

Makes 9 servings. (Used different sizes of Llaneras so it might not be accurate.)

Difference from cooking using egg yolks from whole eggs

Egg Yolks                                       Whole Eggs
 Soft                                                                Firm
More creamy                                                  Creamy
Smooth                              May have lumps if not strained properly

Both taste really GOOD!

It's quite thin so the sides weren't perfectly shaped, anyway it's yummy..mehehe!

  3. Take a strand of your hair and twist it around the headband.
  4. Gather more hair in section and add it to the first strand.
  5. Continue twisting. Don't forget to tuck the end with a clam or hairpin. See below.
  6. Wait for 3-6 hours before you remove it.You can sleep with it if you like.
Mine took about 3 hours..I got too excited with the results..can't wait any longer. Oh, It looks like messy curls on me but i love it..Just another day-look. I would definitely try it again next time.

Cream of Mushroom Macaroni Soup

Soup is in! Especially during cold and rainy days.. So because of that, i feel like getting sick and craving for a soup. Since i dont like to settle with soup alone so i grabbed some elbow macaroni to add in and some veggies. This one is another quick and easy recipe.  You'll have it in less than 30 minutes.

Here's how:
  1. Sauté garlic and onions with butter. (You can add meat and extra mushroom pieces and stems)
  2. Pour-in water and add the dilluted cream of mushroom mix.
  3. Bring to boil.  Add the elbow macaroni and cook for 10 minutes while stirring once in a while.
  4. Put cabbage and carrots then let it simmer until the veg is tender.
  5. Serve hot.
TADAAA!!!
A soup for 3...Share and enjoy!

Happy August 1!
