Day 31: Pastry Chef WannaBe

So here's another attempt of making something sweet. I didn't bake the cupcake (cheating!haha) but i did make the icing - that's all i ever wanted. Im madly inlove with icings! It was easy to mix but i had a hard time putting it in the icing bag. I threw the first one i made because it turn out so messy when i squeezed it then it was all scattered in my hands.

 Hopefully, soon i can make everything perfect.

Day 23: With a Sad Smile

Why do tears come rushing when you are so hurt? Coz it's the only way your eyes can speak when your lips can't explain how things made 

your feelings broken.

Day 22: My Handsome Nafhu

You know you love your pets when you talk to them and wish they could answer you. Every time he meows i answer him back and wished he can answer or i can understand cat talk..whatever..we love his noisy meowing like he is letting us know that he is home already.

The rose and the thorn are more like happiness and sorrow that are  linked together.

Day 20: Back Up

Catching up potds.. Pc was terribly full and running slow - so after it was reformatted, it took me almost a day to back up all the files in my back up internal hard disk. Then deleted some to free some more space.

Day 15: Lovin' the Sunset

Day 14: A Day at the Beach

I have always loved the beach. The smell of the salty water, the wind in my face, the gentle roar of the waves all combine to create a sense of peace and calm.

Down by the seashore, where life is a little easier.

Day 13: Paper Robot Love

A month ago my nephew told me that he wanted a robot cupcake toppers for his birthday. (like the one i did for my mom's birthday) So he said, he want that too. Actually he call it "paper lollipops".

He had a fun party this day while everyone else was busy with the election.

Day 12: Mother's Day Special

Happy Mother's Day to my mom -the most hard working, caring, unselfish, loving, generous, compassionate and fabulous mother in the world. I thank God daily for you!

It's a full time job, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Moms are definitely unbelievable.

Day 11: The Promise

Day 10: Life is a Rollercoaster

That road like you were walking on a rollercoaster track. It's a wonderful experience yet frightening. Life can be like a rollercoaster. Up and downs - problems we face along the way.  It doesn't matter if you sit on the front or the back side, both will have a similar experience.  It can be totally fun in a minute and can be terrifying on the next.  And you'll never know you've overcome your fears and the difficulties it may bring

 until you reach the end. 

Day 9: Separate Lives

Such a lovely sight.  I just wonder sometimes, people can be like trees, they are living on the same ground but they don't even care for one another. How ironic that they are next to each other but they cant be together.  And how painful could it be coz they may look good together,

but never meant for each other.  

Day 8: Gelato Lovin'

Passed by this eye-catching, tantalizingly delicious gelatos. Really yummy. I want more and more....

Diet postponed for this day,  

  I want all the sweetness in the world.

 

Day 7: Missing that Island Paradise

Taken from my trip to Cayman Islands. This is such a nice place to stay and I'm kinda missing it this summertime. That spot near the tree was my favorite spot ever.   "At the beach, life is different. Time doesn’t move hour to hour but mood to moment. 

We live by the currents, plan by the tides, and follow the sun."

Day 6: Lighting Blessings

Candles themselves cannot pray, but they can help us to pray.  In different ways they accompany us through our lives.  A candle also reminds us of baptism, the beginning of our way with Christ and our call to life - to eternal life. -source

Every colored candle has its meaning.You can check them out here.  A candle and a prayer strengthens our faith and gives hope to us that we can overcome every problem we had along the way. Always remember big blessings come in small packages.

Ask not for a lighter burden, but for broader shoulders.

 

Day 5: Escape from the City

Hey would you look at that.. Feel that summer breeze in the midst away from the busy street life in the city. I love the wonder of nature, the green scenery that is really relaxing. How i just wanted to stay and never leave this place.

How i wish i could.

Day 4: Love for Sushi

My most favorite food ever. I can eat a lot. swear. This is a platter of a homemade Maki sushi by yours truly. Uh it doesn't look oh so good but i definitely guarantee that it tastes oh so yummy. Yey! Had a hard time wrapping it up but then eating it - satisfying my cravings is the best part.

City lights. Caught the sunset in a highland. Perfect scenic spot. 

There is melancholy in the wind and sorrow in the view.  It is in the coming darkness that we must focus to see the light. Just have faith, everything will be alright and..

Day 2: Tree lives even when leaves fall

Somewhere out there, i was attracted in this tree for some reasons i find it really interesting and inspiring. Well yeah just like any other tree, leaves can fall but the tree stay alive. Like love, even when the person leave you, you might feel a part of you died but the truth is you can never deny that you are still a living thing.  Like in life, no matter how seeming failures you may have, there can always be a good thing in it.  You may not see it at once just be patient and...

Day 1: Grandmother's Love

Hello May! I wanted to started it with something i want to do that has been delayed for a few months.. So presenting the "Pic of the Day" - some random shots that i will have that has meaning itself of course since i don't have a category to follow..but i do wish i have. So it would be more challenging. Anyway, Im too lazy to think of the categories beforehand so let it be just a daily surprise. hehe!

Here's the first one.

This is a homemade cake for my grandmother's 3rd year death anniversary. Just a simple family gathering and that's it. I miss my lola, i appreciate her kindness to us when she was living with us. When she passed away, i appreciated it more especially all the goods things she taught me - she was always right. Sometimes, i tell myself "I wish Lola was here so she can see how i become because of her good teachings.. i wish she was here that i know she could make everyone feel better...and so on.."

A grandmother's love is definitely the sweetest.

A bit catching up for the start of my POTD
"pic of the day" post issue for this month of May. Out of the blue it came to my mind to pursue this thingy i wanted to try to do that has been postponed for a long time. I don't have any categories to follow. Just some pictures i originally own and took during the day or the cheat mode - sceneries whatsoever that i took from my past and recent trips. Nothing so special, just the fun experience of compiling some of my picture shots, the love for photography and random wonders of a superwandergirl.
