February: That so called love month

Maybe because of Valentines day, February is known to be the love month. Every couple is pressured to have that best date ever with their partners while single peeps is quite stressed of at least having someone to go out with (that can be considered as a date, muhaha) though some doesn't really seem to care, it's just an ordinary day anyway. Okay well, i agree with February as the love month yet, i still believe that everyday should be filled with love, not only for that specific day. When you are in a relationship, you should always make your better half feel special in your own way. If you're a guy, it's like courting her everyday..as in every minute of every day. If you're a girl, it's like showing him how much you love him. It's actually the same meaning in both genders, it only differs in their ways of showing it. Don't just say "I Love You", prove it. Little things mean a lot so much.  Of course, Love is not only for lovers and couples, love is for everyone to feel. Show not only to your partner but also to your family and friends. Everyone wants to be appreciated and loved for who they are.

So I'm quite forgetting about how my February has been. Well, it was full of celebrations and it kept me really occupied that i haven't got the time to write this post before the month ended mehehe! (Better late than never) It's a food month for me because there had been lots of foods from my aunt and sis birthday on separate dates. I've been in charge in cooking everything except baking the cake -_- not really good at it yet so Red Ribbon had saved me for that. What did i cook? Spaghetti, spaghetti and spaghetti muhaha! Bragging a bit of being a cook, i did made some yummy dishes other than spaghetti.^_^

Isn't it magical? Isn't is amazing?

Till then!

After you stand, try to sit. When you are tired, just rest. Try to do this in love. Don't insist if it is not for you. If you cant bear the pain, try to quit. Find somebody who will love you.   And if you cant find, try to wait.  Love will last when you know how to do the opposite of what it asks. 1125

TOP 11: Romantic Movies for Valentine's Day

Everyone of us loves a good romance - to feel that emotional tug in every scene and of course expect happy endings at the end. There are lots of romantic movies, yet here's my handpicked list that you may consider watching this Valentines day or maybe just any other day. (not in particular order).

11. Emma (1996)
Starring: Gwyneth Paltrow, James Cosmo, and Greta Scacchi
Run Time: 121 minutes
Movie Info: A young woman (Paltrow) in rural 19th century England plays her town's matchmaker in an adaption of Jane Austen's classic novel. Her rather unsuccessful attempts at matchmaking on her unsuspecting friends lead to complications, especially as she finally realizes the person she truly loves.

Favorite Quote: "I rode through the rain! I'd ride through worse than that if I could just hear your voice telling me that I might, at least, have some chance to win you."

10. Return To Me (2000)
Starring: David Duchovny and Minnie Driver
Run Time: 115 minutes
Movie Info: A happily married man's (Duchovny) life changes when his wife dies from complications after a car accident. A young woman (Driver) is given a second chance at life with a heart transplant, and helps her grandfather run an Irish-theme restaurant. The two meet at the restaurant and fall in love, but complications ensue when the woman learns her heart transplant came from his wife.

Favorite Quote: "I know that what's happened has been overwhelming. And I know it's going to take a while to sort it all out. But while you're sorting, I want you to remember that all the times I prayed that Gracie would have a second chance at life, I always knew that if God blessed us, the heart she got would have to be from a very special person if it were going to be at home in Grace. When she met you, her heart beat truly for the first time. Perhaps it was meant to be with you always."

9. While You Were Sleeping (1995)
Starring: Sandra Bullock and Bill Pullman
Run Time: 103 minutes
Movie Info: A lonely young train ticket collector (Bullock) rescues an unconscious commuter (Pullman) from certain death after he falls onto the rails. While visiting him at the hospital, a nurse tells his family that she's his fiancee and she doesn't have the courage to correct them -- will she be able to keep up the charade?

Favorite Quote: "Do you believe in love at first sight? Nah, I betcha don't, you're probably too sensible for that. Or have you ever, like, seen somebody? And you knew that, if only that person really knew you, they would, well, they would of course dump the perfect model that they were with, and realize that you were the one that they wanted to, just, grow old with."

 8.  P.S. I Love You (2007)
Starring: Hilary Swank, Gerard Butler, Harry Connick Jr.
Run Time: 126 minutes

Favorite Quote:  "Just create something new and there it is, and its you out in the world, outside of you. And you can look at it, or hear it, or read it, or feel it and you know a little more about you. A little more than anyone else does." -Holly

7.Love and Other Disasters (2007)
Starring: Brittany Murphy, Matthew Rhys, Catherine Tate
Run Time: 90 minutes

Peter, who has never been in a relationship, spends too much time in his dreams and as a result cannot fall in love with a real person. It gets more complicated with the entrance of Paolo, a photography assistant for one of the photographers at Vogue. As the film develops, they come to realize their mistakes and eventually reach their happy endings.

Favorite Quote: "Maybe true love is a decision. You know, a decision to take a chance with somebody, to give to somebody without worrying whether they'll give anything back, or if they're gonna hurt you, or if they really are the one. Maybe love isn't something that happens to you. Maybe it's something you have to choose."
